The Grigoryan Brothers – This Is Us: A Musical Reflection Of Australia
Can an object evoke a nation’s story? Find out when the Grigoryan Brothers perform This Is Us: A Musical Reflection of Australia.
Counted amongst the finest musicians of their generation, guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan have developed a reputation for enthralling audiences with their energy and musicality that embraces classical, jazz, contemporary, and world music styles – all performed on a variety of guitars (electric, 8-string tenor ukulele, classical and more).
Regularly performing throughout Europe, Asia, and the USA, The Grigoryan Brothers are renowned for their unconventional performances and that’s exactly what audiences can expect from This Is Us, their first concert to exclusively feature original music.
Inspired by a collection of artefacts housed within the National Museum of Australia, the performance will be accompanied by immersive high-definition projections of these relics, allowing the Grigoryan’s to tell the stories of these objects anew through music and truly immerse audiences in the history and culture of each piece.
The Grigoryan Brothers will perform This Is Us: A Musical Reflection of Australia at 2PM on Sunday, March 30th. If you enjoy classical music, jazz, or are a history enthusiast, you’ll love this.
