Brooke McMullen is currently touring her tribute show “DOLLY: I Will Always Love You” throughout Australia.
The high energy show will include stunning costumes and take the audience on a journey through Dolly Parton’s greatest hits such as, Jolene, 9 to 5, Coat of Many Colors, Here You Come Again, and so many more. Backed by a talented live band, Brooke’s performance is a fitting tribute to a country music legend.
McMullen has been performing since she was two and a half years old and practically had to be dragged off stage after that first performance. She loved it, the lights, the music and the applause – Brooke was destined to be on the stage. Born into a horse racing family, her parents quickly realised it wasn’t for her and put her into a dance class. She immediately fell in love and spent the next 15 years learning all styles of dance. A love of singing, acting and musical theatre ensued. Brooke’s first professional performance came at the age of 16 in Grease at QPAC, followed by Hairspray, Blood Brothers, Chicago, Guys & Dolls, Cats and Spamalot.
McMullen has toured throughout Australia and New Zealand with tributes to Linda Ronstadt and June Carter Cash as well as Parton. She has also had the privilege of opening for Australian legends; Daryl Braithwaite and Alex Lloyd. Recently Brooke has entertained audiences on board cruise ships in the South Pacific, with her show DOLLY: I Will Always Love You. Brooke’s show is a tribute to country music royalty; a celebration of the one and only Dolly Parton. After years of honouring Dolly, Brooke is over the moon to be meeting her idol this December in Las Vegas. Find out more here.
