Discover affordable, accessible resort accommodation on the waterfront in NSW

Looking for holiday accommodation near the beach that is accessible and won’t break the bank?

The not-for-profit Federation of Community, Sporting and Workers Clubs (FSCWC) have been providing members and guests with spacious, affordable resort accommodation for over 60 years in three beautiful NSW seaside locations – Sussex Inlet on the South Coast, and Fingal Bay and Urunga on the North Coast.

Haven Holiday Resort is hidden away in the Conjola National Park on the inlet that the town of Sussex Inlet takes it name from, that links St Georges Basin to the Pacific Ocean.

With the majesty of Hyams Beach, Booderee National Park, and Jervis Bay all there to explore a short distance away, Haven Holiday Resort is situated in a natural paradise.

This resort, with its bush backdrop and water frontage, is the ideal holiday destination for anyone who yearns to escape the city and leave technology behind in the search for solitude and peace. Only a short drive to the shops, restaurants, RSL, Bowls, Golf Club and Marine Centre, the quaint town of Sussex Inlet makes the perfect spot for a week of fishing and recreation.

Seaside Holiday Resort in Fingal Bay is located across from stunning Fingal Beach, a crescent shaped, white sand beach that was made famous in the 2006 Lara Bingle television commercial “Where the bloody hell are you?”. The town is located within Port Stephens’ Tomaree National Park, and is close to the breath-taking Stockton Sand Dunes, Tomaree Summit Walk, Zenith Beach, and the Port Stephens Lighthouse on Fingal Island and its renown spit.

Seaside is the largest of the three FCSWC resorts with 60 units comprised of lounge, kitchen, private bathroom and two or three-bedrooms.

Directly across from the resort is the foreshore reserve, Surf Life Saving Club, and wheelchair Mobi-Mat access to the water.

This spectacular spot is perfect for relaxation, fishing, bowls, and sightseeing, with amazing dining only short drive away in the township of Nelson Bay.

Further north on the Coffs Coast, Riverside Holiday Resort offers 40 fully self-contained units along the river in the coastal town of Urunga, known to travellers for its 1km boardwalk that stretches from the tidal lagoon out to the ocean. Urunga is the perfect starting point to set off on a day trip to explore the nearby towns of Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, and Nambucca Heads, or take a walk in the Dorrigo National Park rainforest for some bird and waterfall spotting.

The resort adjoins the CeX golf course, tennis court, and club, and is a quick walk to the town’s museum, art gallery, bowls club, boardwalk and eateries. With stunning water views to the east, and the mountains of the Great Dividing Range to the west, Riverside Holiday Resort is in a superb destination for enjoying fishing, boating, golfing, walking, or just kicking back on the patio of your spacious, private accommodation soaking in the panorama.
