The creative and artistic talents of a generation who have lived and seen it all will go on show today in Doncaster part of Aveo’s Seniors Festival celebrations.
The art show, themed ‘Creative Connections’, features more than 70 entries from 40 resident artists across Victoria.
Oil, watercolour, and acrylic paintings will be on display alongside extraordinary woodwork pieces, including a lamp hand carved from Huon pine, and a sculpture of a 1901 Berliot Car made from recycled materials, sourced locally in the Croydon area, which took an entire year to produce.
Esteemed Victorian artist Hannah Fox (pictured) will be judging the winners of the art show, with prizes totalling $4,000 up for grabs.
