A 54-year-old woman has been charged with more than 50 drug-related offences following a police raid on her home near Dubbo yesterday.
NSW Police say that as part of ongoing investigations into drug supply in the area, officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Reid Street, Wellington, at around 9.20am on Tuesday.
“During the search, police seized electronic items, cannabis seed, drug paraphernalia, and a substance believed to methylamphetamine (ice). Officers also seized power tools, suspected of being stolen. All items seized will undergo further examination,” NSW Police said in a statement.
The 54-year-old woman was arrested at the home and taken to Wellington Police Station, where she was charged with 53 offences including;
- Supply prohibited drug (x20),
- supply prohibited drug – small quantity (x17),
- supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity (x10)
- supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity,
- supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (x5), and,
- owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises.
The Wellington woman was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today.
