Witnesses sought to fatal Mount Tom crash

An 82-year-old man has died in a crash at Mount Tom this morning.

Initial Queensland Police investigations indicate that just before 7.30am today, a ute was travelling along Fingerboard Road near Hallorans Road when it left the roadway and rolled.

“The 82-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling in the vicinity at the time and has dashcam vision or witnessed the crash to contact police.
