WA Police seek witnesses to Kalgoorlie crash

WA Police are seeking information from members of the public regarding a crash in South Kalgoorlie yesterday, that has left a 73-year-old man in hospital with serious injuries.

Police say that at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, a Mazda 2 hatch and a Toyota Corolla hatch were being driven north on Wilson Street, when the two vehicles collided near the intersection of Davidson Street.

“The impact of the crash caused the Toyota Corolla to leave the road and strike a tree,” WA Police said in a statement.

“The 73-year-old male driver of the Toyota Corolla received serious injuries in the crash, and was taken by St John WA to Kalgoorlie Hospital. The driver of the Mazda 2 was not injured.”
