Joondalup Detectives have charged two men following an investigation into the alleged assault of a man in his 70s in Jindalee on Friday.
Police say that at around 3:15am on Friday, the man was walking through a restaurant carpark on Cockleshell Brace when he was approached by two males who were not known to him.
“The males pushed the man to the ground and kicked him several times, before they left the scene in vehicle,” WA Police said in a statement.
“The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St. John WA for treatment of serious head and facial injuries.”
Following inquiries, detectives charged two men from Butler – aged 21 and 22 – with intent to harm and did an act causing bodily harm.
