Two men – aged 55 and 59 – have been charged after Mackay police seized a large quantity of drugs from properties at Marian on Friday.
Police executed a search warrant at two Kennys Road properties and located a significant drug production setup inside a house, Queensland Police said in a statement today.
“During the two-day crime scene, police located around $15,000 cash, more than 115kg of cannabis and a large amount of commercial equipment allegedly used to produce and store cannabis,” Police said.
“A small amount of MDMA and cocaine was also located.”

A 55-year-old man has been charged with trafficking and producing dangerous drugs. He was also charged with four counts of possessing dangerous, two counts of possessing anything used in the commission of a crime and other drug related charges.
A 59-year-old man was also charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime and other drug-related charges.
Both local men were refused police bail and will appear in Mackay Magistrates Court today.
