A 75-year-old man who was the victim of a callous assault in Toowomba last week has died from his injuries in hospital.
The man was taken to hospital in a critical condition on February 6th, after he was pushed from behind while waiting at a taxi rank on Margaret Street around 5pm.

An 18-year-old man, 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys who were originally charged with grievous bodily harm are expected to have their charges upgraded following the results of a post-mortem report, Queensland Police said in a statement this afternoon.
Police have renewed calls to locate the man’s backpack, which was stolen during the assault.
“Investigators would like to thank the community for their assistance and continue to appeal to anyone with information about the back pack (pictured) or relevant dashcam footage to come forward,” Queensland Police said.
