Two men – aged 74 and 64 – and a teenager have died following a horrific two-vehicle crash in the state’s north west yesterday.
Police say that just after 5.30pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to Culgoora Road, about 20km east of Wee Waa, following reports two utilities had collided.
The driver and sole occupant of a Toyota utility – a 73-year-old man – and the male driver and passenger of a Nissan Navara – aged 64 and 16 – all died at the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced, and anyone who may have information that can assist is urged to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
