Police have charged a second 13-year-old boy in relation to the alleged theft of a vehicle which was involved in a horrific fatal traffic crash in Maryborough on Sunday which killed three people.
Police will allege the Mercedes-Benz was stolen from a Dalhousie St, Maryborough address around 8.40pm on Sunday night.

Two hours later, the stolen vehicle was involved in an alleged fatal traffic crash, killing three women – Michale Chandler, 29, Kelsie Davies, 17, and nurse Sheree Robertson, 52 – and leaving a fourth fighting for life in hospital.

A 13-year-old Bundaberg boy was charged earlier this week with three counts of dangerous operation of motor vehicle causing death and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
“The second 13-year-old boy who has now been charged was not in the vehicle at the time of the fatal crash,” Queensland Police said in a statement this afternoon.
“Police have found no evidence a passenger ran from the alleged stolen Mercedes-Benz after the crash as initially suggested.”
The 13-year-old Maryborough boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and one count each of driving without a licence, possessing dangerous drugs.
He is due to re-appear in Maryborough Childrens Court at a later date.
