Queensland Police are coordinating a search for a 54-year-old man missing in flood waters at Cedar Pocket.
The search, involving water police, QFES swift water rescue, police divers and the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter, as well as officers searching river banks and creeks, commenced after the 54-year-old’s motorcycle was located in flood waters approximately 200 metres from Green Creek Bridge, Cedar Pocket Road at around 7.30am this morning, Police said in a statement.
Overnight, Cedar Pocket Road was subject to extreme rain and flash flooding.
