A 60-year-old woman is in a critical condition after a crash at Yumali last night.
Police say that at around 9.40pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to the Dukes Highway after reports that a Ford sedan and truck had collided head on.
“The driver of the car, a 60-year-old Meningie woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains with critical injuries,” SA Police said in a statement this morning.
“Thankfully the driver of the truck, a 24-year-old Naracoorte man, wasn’t seriously injured.”
Road closures remain in place on the Dukes Highway but are expected to be cleared soon.
“Please avoid the area if possible,” SA Police said.
