The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is calling on the residents of Cairns to take part in the Crime and Community Safety survey.
QPS says the Cairns Crime and Community Safety Survey is designed to gather insights from the local community about crime and safety issues in the region.
Residents are encouraged to take part in the anonymous 10-minute survey.
“By sharing their views, participants contribute valuable information that will be used to shape future crime prevention responses in Cairns,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The survey aims to create an evidence base, allowing the QPS to track progress over time and tailor initiatives to address the specific needs of the community.
“The QPS acknowledges the importance of community involvement and expresses gratitude to Cairns residents for their time and insights.
“Together, through active participation in the survey, the community and police can collaboratively work towards creating a safer and more secure Cairns,” it said.
