Police seek vehicle in Murrumba Downs crash case

Queensland Police investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Murrumba Downs this morning, have released CCTV images of a vehicle they believe may be linked.

Emergency services were called to Dohles Rocks Road just after 9.45am to reports of a two-vehicle crash, involving an allegedly stolen blue Audi and a white Toyota Corolla.

A 16-year-old boy, who was the alleged driver of the Audi, was taken into custody at the scene of the crash.

A 69-year-old woman, who was the driver of the Corolla, was declared deceased at the scene.

Police will allege that the stolen blue Audi hit a stationary police vehicle near the scene injuring two officers.

Both were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say around 15 minutes earlier, about 9.30am, a woman was threatened with a firearm and the blue Audi was stolen from Dohles Rocks Road, Griffin.

The weapon that was used in the alleged robbery has been located by police.

Police believe the driver of the allegedly stolen blue Audi could have links to occupants of a stolen orange Holden Hatchback, registration 906IP3, that was seen in the area at the time.

Police are appealing for anyone who sees or knows the whereabouts of this vehicle (pictured) to contact Triple 000 immediately.

Members of the public are urged not to approach the vehicle, or anyone associated with the vehicle.
