Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into a serious two-vehicle crash in Cedar Grove on Christmas Day that has left a man in his 80s in a critical condition in hospital.
Police say their initial investigations indicate that at around 4.10pm, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Hilux crashed at the corner of Bamboo Drive and Mount Lindesay Highway.
“The driver of the Camry, a man in his 80s, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The passenger of the Camry and the driver of the Hilux were not seriously injured.”
Police are appealing for witnesses, in particular the driver of a vehicle that was in front of the Camry prior to the crash, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
