Detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for public assistance to locate two stolen puppies and reunite them with their owners in Pine Mountain.
Police say that between 5.30pm on April 29 and 6am on April 30, unknown offenders have broken into a property on the Warrego Highway.
Twelve puppies were stolen from a pet play pen, ranging from eight to nine weeks in age and of various breeds including Shoodles (Shih-Tsu x Poodle), Miniature Foxie Terriers, King Charles Cavalier and a Blue Fawn Staffy.
Police investigations have led to three of the puppies – two Shoodles and a Mini Foxie – which were located at a Raceview address yesterday.
“Members of the public located six of the puppies on the evening of April 29. Another puppy located by a member of the public was found this morning on May 1,” Police said.
All 10 puppies located so far have been returned to their owner.
Two puppies, a King Charles Cavalier and a Blue Fawn Staffy (both pictured), remain outstanding.
Anyone who has seen the puppies or has information regarding their whereabouts is asked to contact police.
