Police appeal for missing Newport boy

Queensland Police are seeking public assistance to locate a missing 11-year-old boy from Newport.

“Concern is held for the boy’s welfare due to his young age. He was last seen at a Spinnaker Boulevard address around 9am yesterday,” Police said in a statement.

“The boy has not made contact with family or friends since and his disappearance is out of character.”

He is described as approximately 160cm tall, Pacific Islander appearance, olive skin, brown short hair and brown eyes.

Police urge the boy, or anyone with information relating to his location, to contact them.
