A collision in Ormond this morning has claimed the life of a pedestrian.
Investigators have been told a truck collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of North and Booran Roads at around 11am.
“The pedestrian, a yet to be formally identified female, sadly died at the scene,” Victoria Police said in a statement. Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.”
The driver of the truck, a 75-year-old man, is assisting police with enquiries.
