Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a 90-year-old pedestrian died in a collision with a ute at Sandstone Point this morning.
“Preliminary inquiries indicate just after 6am a man was walking east on Bestmann Road when he was struck by a utility which also had been travelling east,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The pedestrian, a 90-year-old Ningi man, died at the scene.”
Police investigations are continuing at the scene.
