A 62-year-old man has died following a pedestrian crash on the state’s Central Coast yesterday.
Police say that at around 8.50am on Tuesday, emergency services were called to Ambulance Road, Gosford, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
Police have been told a 62-year-old man fell onto the road before a Holden Trailblazer turned a corner and struck him.
“The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Gosford Hospital, where he died a short time later,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“Officers from Brisbane Water Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“The Holden driver, a 29-year-old woman, was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.”
