50-year-old woman arrested over Sydney shooting

Four people – including a 50-year-old woman – have been arrested after a public place shooting in Sydney’s west today.

Shortly before 2pm, officers from Nepean Police Area Command attended Joseph Street in Kingswood, after reports that shots had been fired.

“Police have been told a man arrived at a house, before an altercation broke out with the three occupants – two men and a woman – and shots were fired,” NSW Police said in a statement.

“No one was injured and the man left the scene in a Honda CRV.

“Officers established a crime scene and seized a handgun from the property.”

Two men – aged 33 and 49 – and a 50-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station.

Following further inquiries, police arrested a 32-year-old man in Cambridge Park a short time later.
