New Wodonga library/gallery is picture perfect

Wodonga’s long-awaited new library-gallery Hyphen will open to the public on August 2.

An official ceremony will take place on Friday, August 6 with Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes joining Wodonga Mayor, Kev Poulton to officially open the new building.

Hyphen features several galleries, library service and a range of meeting rooms and creator studios as well as the outdoor Sculpture Terrace.

“Details on the programs and exhibitions that will feature in Hyphen’s first weeks will be released in the lead-up to the opening,” it said in a statement.

“The first weekend will feature a range of activities to introduce and welcome the community into the new space.”

Hyphen will be open weekdays from 10am to 6pm with the library space open on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm and the gallery spaces open from 9am to 3pm and Sundays from 10am to 3pm.
