Motorcycle crash claims life of 69-year-old woman

A 69-year-old female motorcyclist has died following a crash in Sydney’s south west this afternoon.

At around 2.30pm today, emergency services were called to May Farm Road, Brownlow Hill about 6km northwest of Camden, following reports of a crash.

“Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command arrived to find a motorcycle and a 4WD had collided,” NSW Police said in a statement.

“The rider – a 69-year-old woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, she died at the scene.

“The driver of the 4WD – a 74-year-old woman – was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.”

A crime scene has been established and police have commenced an investigation into the cause of the crash.
