A body, believed to be that of a 74-year-old man missing from Berowra Heights since March 19, has been located in bushland today.
The man was last seen at his home in Easton Road, Berowra Heights, prior to 8pm on Thursday, March 18.
“Officers from Kuring Gai Police Area Command were notified of the man’s disappearance and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts, including an extensive search of surrounding bushland,” NSW Police said in a statement this evening.
“A further search was conducted today, with the assistance of the Dog Unit and a man’s body was located on the Berkley Track at Berowra about 11am.
“The body is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of the missing man.”
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
