Are you an older person living on the NSW MidCoast or a carer? MidCoast Council wants your feedback about how you feel about living on the MidCoast as an older person.
The Council says the feedback will help to check on the progress of its MidCoast Ageing Strategy 2022-2026.
The Strategy was developed as a comprehensive plan to guide Council, other agencies and the community to support older residents’ needs across five priority areas including health and wellbeing, working and retiring, housing choices, getting around and inclusive communities.
“We are halfway through the MidCoast Ageing Strategy and we want to check in with our community to see how they are feeling about living on the MidCoast”, said MidCoast Council’s Manager of Libraries Community and Cultural Services, Alex Mills.
“With one of the oldest populations in Australia, it is really important to make sure our region is great place where we can live and age well”, said Mr Mills.
The MidCoast Ageing Strategy check-in consultation is open from today to Sunday 20 October.
By completing the online survey, you will also go in the draw for the chance to win one of two $25 MidCoast Shop vouchers.
Or Council staff will be available at a pop-up to have a chat about your experience and needs on:
