A woman has died after being struck by a car at Miami last night.
Police say that at around 7pm, a woman attempted to run across the Gold Coast Highway at the intersection of Riviera Road when she has been struck by a vehicle travelling south.
The pedestrian, a 61-year-old Miami woman, was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital but died a short time later.
The driver of the car was not physically injured.
