Popular MasterChef Australia presenter, Jock Zonfrillo, has died suddenly at the age of 46.
Mr Zonfrillo’s body was discovered at 2am yesterday at a home in Lygon Street in Carlton following a welfare check call, Victoria Police have confirmed.
A statement from the father-of-four’s family confirmed the Scot’s sudden death.
The family wrote: “With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday.”
It’s understood the TV star’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
Jock’s third wife, Lauren Fried, asked fans to raise a glass in remembrance of the Glaswegian.
“So many words can describe him, so many stories can be told, but at this time we’re too overwhelmed to put them into words,” she said.
“For those who crossed his path, became his mate, or were lucky enough to be his family, keep this proud Scot in your hearts when you have your next whisky.”
