Queensland Police are seeking public assistance as part of investigations into the armed robbery of a woman in Cannon Hill.
Police say that at approximately 10.50am on Friday, July 22, a man entered a woman’s blue Toyota Yaris which was parked on Wynnum Road in Cannon Hill.
“He told the occupant that he was in possession of a weapon before threatening her and demanding she drive him to the Cannon Hill Shopping Centre and give him cash,” Police said in a statement.
“The occupant complied and dropped the man at the shopping centre around 11am. She was not physically injured during the incident.”
Police say the man (pictured) then stole alcohol from a local bottle shop.
The man is described as Caucasian, around 25-years-old with fair complexion and average height and build.
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the offender either before, or after, the incident to come forward.
