A man aged in his 70s has died at a beach on the Central Coast earlier today.
In a statement, NSW Police said that at around 8.20am, emergency services were called to Terrigal Beach following reports a man had been pulled from the water unconscious.
“Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District, NSW Ambulance and Surf Life Saving NSW responded. CPR was performed on the man – believed to be aged in his 70s – however he couldn’t be revived,” Police said.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
