Victorian Police made a swift arrest in Melton yesterday afternoon following reports a man had indecently exposed himself to a child.
“Officers were called to Northcott Street around 2pm after reports a man was exposing himself towards others,” Police said in a statement.
“Police quickly responded, patrolling the area and arrested a man nearby.”
Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives charged the 51-year-old man of no fixed address with sexual activity in the presence of a child under the age of 16 and sexual exposure.
He was remanded to appear before Sunshine Magistrates’ Court today.
