A 75-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s north today.
Police say that at around 8.30am, emergency services were called to the intersection of Cattai Ridge Road and Smith Lane, Glenorie, following reports a 1956 vintage Daimler Conquest had left the roadway and struck a tree.

“Officers from The Hills Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and rendered aid to the driver,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The driver – a 75-year-old man – died on route to hospital.
“A crime scene was established with an investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.”
As inquiries continue, police are seeking witnesses to the crash, or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Castle Hill Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
