A 71-year-old man has died after a collision between a ute and an SUV in Sydney’s south-west yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Burragorang Road, Glenmore, at around 5pm on Saturday and found the 71-year-old man SUV driver critically injured.
“He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene,” NSW Police said in a statement.
A 64-year-old woman travelling in the SUV was treated for arm injuries before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
A 70-year-old man driving the ute was treated for minor injuries and taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
A passenger in the ute – a 62-year-old woman – was not injured.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command have established a crime scene and an investigation into the cause of the crash has commenced.
