Queensland Police are investigating after a 68-year-old man was seriously assaulted at Toowoomba this morning.
Emergency services were initially called to an address in Rockville at around 6:20am following reports a male resident had sustained lacerations to his chest, Police said in a statement.
The 68-year-old man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
“Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the Rockville area around the time of the incident this morning or may have relevant CCTV/dashcam vision to come forward,” Police said.
