A 59-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash at Tamworth last night.
Police say that just before 6.10pm on Monday, emergency services were called to Peel Street, Tamworth, following reports a Foton ute had left the roadway and hit a fence.
“Despite the efforts of other motorists and NSW Ambulance paramedics, the driver – a 59-year-old man – died at the scene,” NSW Police said in a statement this morning.
“Officers attached to Oxley Police District attended and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash. A report will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.”
