The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal ride-on lawn mower roll over in Dixalea south of Rockhampton yesterday, which claimed the life of a 59-year-old man.
Police say their initial investigations indicate a man was mowing the area between the fence line of a Lanigans Lane property and the Burnett Highway at around 8.15am when the ride-on mower rolled.
“As a result, a 59-year-old Dixalea man died at the scene. The incident has been deemed non-suspicious, however investigations are ongoing,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
