Firefighters have extinguished a building fire at the Ochre Medical Centre on Hardwick Crescent in Holt.
At approximately 8:19am, ACT Fire & Rescue say they were notified of the structure fire at the centre.
Firefighers attended the scene, with around 30 people evacuated from the Kippax Shops area as a result of the blaze.
“The fire extended into the roof space of the building causing significant damage,” ACT Fire & Rescue said in a statement.
“Seven ACTF&R crews including three pumpers, two aerial appliances, breathing apparatus support and HAZMAT responded to the fire along with the ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Policing.
“There have been no injuries reported from this incident.”
Investigations into the cause of the fire are underway.
