Ho ho ho off they go!

Wyndham North Police are investigating the brazen daylight theft of an inflatable Christmas Santa from a Hoppers Crossing home.

Police say two unknown men arrived at the Parkside Walk house around 10am on November 26 on a white scooter motorcycle.

“The offenders have stolen a large inflatable dog from the front lawn of the address before fleeing the scene on the scooter towards Carruthers Drive,” Victoria Police said in a statement.

The scooter, with registration 1Z4FY, is believed to have been stolen from an address in Hoppers Crossing the day before, Police say.

Investigators have released CCTV and an image of two men who they believe will be able to assist with their enquiries.

The passenger is described as Caucasian and was wearing black clothing and a red helmet.

The rider was wearing black clothing and a black helmet.
