Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney’s north west.
Mary-Anne Daly, aged 53, was last seen getting into a taxi near a medical facility on Palmerston Rd, Hornsby about 11:15pm on Wednesday and has not been seen or spoken to since, NSW Police said in a statement today.
“Family members reported her missing to officers from Ryde Police Area Command who have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts,” NSW Police said.
Concerns are held for her welfare due to medical conditions.
Ms Daly is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin, tall build, with long dark hair and blue eyes. She also has a tattoo on her left forearm that reads ‘this shall pass too’.
She was last seen wearing a floral jumpsuit, black leather jacket, yellow high heeled shoes, gold nail polish and a black handbag.
It is believed she is known to frequent the Cherrybrook, Pennant Hills, Castle Hill and Hornsby areas.
Anyone who sees Ms Daly or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
