Have you seen Leslie?

Police are seeking public assistance to locate an 84-year-old man missing from the Blue Mountains.

Police say the family of Leslie Haswell (pictured), haven’t spoken to him since about 11.30am yesterday.

“His family attended his home at Wentworth Falls, about 4.30pm, and when he didn’t return home and was unable to be located, police were notified,” NSW Police said in a statement.

They believe he boarded an eastbound train at Wentworth Falls Station at 1.24pm yesterday and may have been seen at Blaxland station around 3pm.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Leslie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 180cm tall, of medium build, with balding grey hair. He could be wearing a blue jumper, dark green trousers and carrying a black backpack.

He uses a metal arm crutch to walk and is known to use the rail network to travel.

Anyone with information about Leslie’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
