Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing 83-year-old Glen Iris man who has been missing since Sunday afternoon.
Police say the man, named George (pictured), was last seen on Spruzen Street in Kew East after leaving his home to go for a walk just after 5pm.
“Police and family hold concerns for George’s welfare as he has been diagnosed with dementia which causes him to become disoriented,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and tan coloured runners.
An image of George has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about George’s whereabout is urged to contact Boroondara police on 8851 1111.
