Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Moonee Ponds man, Ernesto Medina.
The 86-year-old was last seen leaving a residence in Derby Street, Moonee Ponds in his blue 2019 Suzuki Baleno sedan about 1pm yesterday.
Police hold concerns for Ernesto’s welfare due to his age, a medical condition, and say that his disappearance is out of character.
Ernesto was last seen wearing dark blue tracksuit pants, a navy-blue top, and brown shoes
Investigators have released an image of Ernesto in the hope that someone recognises him.
He is known to frequent the Moonee Ponds and Port Arlington areas, as well as the Epworth Hospital in Richmond.
Anyone who sights Ernesto or with information about his current whereabouts is urged to call Moonee Ponds Police Station on 9373 5200.
