Police are appealing for public assistance to find an 82-year-old man missing from the Tuggerah Lakes area.
Bernard Anable (pictured), was last seen at his home on Rushby Street in Bateau Bay about 5pm yesterday.
“Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District commenced an investigation into his whereabouts when he was reported missing by family,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Bernard is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm-175cm tall, of slim build, bald and with blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, blue and white board shorts, black slides and a red cap. Bernard also wears a bracelet with his name on it.
“Police and family hold concerns for Bernard’s welfare due to his age and because of an existing medical condition. Bernard is known to frequent the Umina area,” Police said.
Anyone with information about Bernard’s whereabouts is urged to contact Wyong Police Station on 4356 6099.
