Driver, 95, hits three pedestrians

Queensland Police were called to Goodwin Drive at Bongaree this morning after three pedestrians were struck by a vehicle just before midday.

Preliminary inquiries indicate a ute was travelling north-west on Goodwin Drive when it struck the three pedestrians who were crossing the road in front of the shopping centre.

A woman and two young children were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 95-year-old male driver was transported to hospital as a precaution and was subsequently released.

Police say their investigations are ongoing.
