Thyme Lifestyle Resort Canungra has commenced construction on the first stage of its $75 million-dollar over-50s housing development project, which has approval for 167 dwellings.
Serenitas Head of Development, Dean Walker said, “We are excited to be bringing our leading Thyme Lifestyle Resort brand to such an incredible location like Canungra.
“Our plans for this master planned community have been tailored to complement the unique characteristics of the local area whilst also offering people over 50 who are seeking to downsize the opportunity to stay in the region.
“Our range of architecturally designed homes have been thoughtfully designed to be low maintenance whilst working in harmony with the unique attributes of Canungra. Each home will be equipped with water tank storage and solar panels, enabling residents to live more sustainably and lower their everyday energy costs.
“We appreciate that Australians are placing greater value on making the most of life, and our investment in this lifestyle resort makes it possible for many to own a home in a beautiful location that might otherwise be out of reach.
“To help us realise the full potential of Thyme Canungra and promote socialisation and connectivity, the lifestyle resort will feature a luxurious Clubhouse which will include a resort swimming pool, cinema, gym, sports bar, pickleball court and more,” he said.
Thyme Canungra expects to be welcoming its first homeowners early next year.
