Centenary exhibition for acclaimed artist Jeffrey Smart

Acclaimed Australian artist Jeffrey Smart, known for his dynamic depiction of the 20th century urban experience will be celebrated in a major exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia in October this year marking the Centenary of his birth.

The exhibition will showcase more than 100 works of art, beginning with early works from the 1940s to Smart’s last painting Labyrinth, completed in 2011.

Exhibition dates: 1 October 2021 – 6 March 2022.
