Two Bridgeman Downs men – aged 69 and 25-year-old – have been charged with attempted murder following an alleged wounding incident this morning.
Queensland Police say that at around 3.30am, officers were called to a location near Beckett Road and Darien Street in Bridgeman Downs following reports of an altercation involving three men.
“Upon arrival, police located a 37-year-old Fortitude Valley man with serious wounds to his back and abdomen. He was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“A 69-year-old man and a 25-year-old man sustained minor injuries and were transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital in stable conditions. The three people involved are known to each other.”
Both men are expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 19.
