A 65-year-old man and 59-year-old woman have been arrested during a series of police drug raids in the north western suburbs.
Police say that on Wednesday, Western District police with the assistance of members from Special Task and Rescue (STAR) Group and Dog Operations Unit conducted a search of a home in Kilburn and Woodville Gardens.
“As a result of these searches police located and seized cash totalling more than $190,000 along with approximately 1 gram of cocaine, 1 gram of heroin and other drug paraphernalia,” SA Police said in a statement.
Police arrested a 65-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman both from Kilburn. They were charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and three counts of money laundering.  A 59-year-old woman from Woodville Gardens was also arrested, she was charged with four counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and three counts of money laundering.
The 65-year-old man and the 59-year-old woman were refused police bail and were due to appear in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday. The 21-year-old woman was granted bail to appear in court at a later date.
