Victoria has recorded its first death from COVID-19 in a month after a person who had been cleared of the virus died from complications associated with it.
No further details of the death or circumstances surrounding it have been released by Victorian health authorities.
The news comes as the state again records a 24-hour period of no new cases – for the 31st day in a row – as Melburnians were this morning permitted to begin a gradual return to the office.
